She hit 11-of-18 shots from the field and is the first Saint to score at least 30 points in a game since Stephanie Sherwood tallied 30 points versus Bellarmine Feb. 9, 2017. Mary Barton added 21 points and grabbed a career-high seven rebounds. Sherwood and UU Longs both chipped in 11 points.

What Happened
The Saints led 13-11 with 4:42 left before scoring the last 15 points of the first quarter. Erin Lenahan started the run with a jumper, and Sherwood knocked down a jumper and a 3-pointer. Mary Barton scored on a drive and sank two free throws. UU Longs tacked on two free throws, and a Steward layup was good for a 28-11 lead after 10 minutes. The Saints hit five of six shots in the stretch while forcing Bellarmine to miss all six of its shots.

The Saints broke the game open in the second quarter. Steward hit back-to-back jumpers, and Lenahan had a driving layup. After two Bellarmine free throws, Steward and Sherwood drained consecutive 3-pointers as the Saints led 47-23. The Knights went on a 7-0 to cut the Maryville lead to 47-30 at halftime.

A Barton 3-pointer pushed the Saints ahead 55-36 as Maryville took a 61-47 edge into the final quarter. The Knights chipped away at the deficit but the Saints maintained a comfortable edge to win their second league game. Four different Saints hit two 3-pointers in the game.
