Dezmond McDaniel tallied a career-high 19 points as four Maryville players scored in double figures in a 77-61 triumph over Saint Louis College of Pharmacy. He splashed in four 3-pointers in five attempts, while
Owen Long sank five treys en route to 18 points.
Parker Long finished with 17 points, and
Malik Barnett scored 11 points.
Gary Pendleton hauled down a game-high 13 rebounds, the most by a Maryville player this season.

What Happened
The Saints scored the opening four points of the game in which they would never trail. The Eutectics closed to 6-5 before Maryville reeled off 13 straight points.
Parker Long sank a jumper to start the run, and
Owen Long drained a 3-pointer.
Parker Long scored buckets in the paint, and Barnett scored in traffic.
Parker Long's bucket pushed the Saints ahead 19-5. The Maryville defense kept the visitors off the scoreboard for over six minutes.

Still up 22-10, Maryville tacked on an 8-0 run to take control late in the half.

Parker Long jumper build a 30-10 lead. Maryville took a 43-24 advantage into halftime after shooting 51.7 percent from the field. The Saints held the Eutectics to just 8-of-29 shooting in the opening 20 minutes.

The Saints took their biggest lead of the game at 54-29 at the 15:06 mark and held at least a 20-point lead for six more minutes. The Eutectics chipped away at the lead but the Maryville margin was never smaller than 11 points. McDaniel hit two free throws and a basket during a 5-0 run that sealed the win.
