Maryville used a 17-3 run to close out the game in a 65-61 victory over Lincoln in the first game of the UMSL Thanksgiving Classic.
Parker Long hit a key deep 3-pointer, and
Malik Barnett had a steal with 5.1 seconds to play and sealed the win with two free throws.

What Happened
The Saints were trailing 58-48 before going on the game-winning rally.
Parker Long drilled a 3-pointer to pull the Saints to 58-51 with 6:20 left. Pittman sank a jumper and drained a 3-pointer to close the gap to 58-56. Lincoln made one free throw before
Owen Long tied the game at 59-all with 3:14 remaining.
Parker Long then pulled up from the top of the key and his triple was good for a 62-59 advantage. Lincoln scored before Pittman made one free throw for a 63-61 lead with 25 seconds remaining. Lincoln tried to feed the post but Barnett soared to come up with the steal. His two free throws with 5.1 ticks left sealed the win.
