Ohio Dominican recap
The Maryville men's basketball team was looking to stretch its winning streak to three. However, Ohio Dominican was red-hot from 3-point range and defeated the Saints 84-60. ODU sank 11 3-pointers in the first half and finished with 14 triples.
Parker Long led the Saints with 20 points.

What Happened
Malik Barnett hit a jumper on the opening possession as the Saints took the early lead. The Panthers sank two triples and jumped ahead 8-2.
Parker Long converted a long jumper and a 3-pointer as Maryville closed to 11-7.
Dezmond McDaniel and
Antoine Pittman made two jumpers to keep the Saints close at 18-11 eight minutes into the game. ODU converted three straight 3-pointers before Long stopped the run with two free throws. The Panthers stretched out the lead with four more three-pointers to finish 11-of-19 from beyond the arc.

The Saints tried to make a run in the second half and twice had 5-0 runs but were unable to get the deficit under 20 points. Maryville was unable to overcome ODU's hot shooting as the Panthers finished with a 51.5 field goal percentage.

The Saints begin Great Lakes Valley Conference play Tuesday, Dec. 3, when they travel to Rolla, Mo., to take on Missouri S&T in a 7:30 p.m. start.
