Eugene Jones tied his career high with 17 points but could not prevent Drury from moving past the Maryville men's basketball team 87-71 Saturday afternoon at Moloney Arena. Jones hit 7-of-8 shots from the field to lead four Saints in double figures.

The game was tied at 15-15 before
Bobby Harvey sank a 3-pointer to push the Saints ahead.
Zach Colletta sank a jumper in the lane for a 20-15 lead at the 9:22 mark. The Panthers scored eight straight until
Casey Teson's bucket made the score 23-22. Drury pushed its edge back to eight but a bucket by Joens and a
Chaz Glotta 3-pointer brought the Saints to within 30-27. Jones scored at the end of the half to cut the Drury lead down to 33-29.

Colletta's three-point play inched the Saints to within 35-32 but Drury answered back for a 40-32 advantage. Glotta drilled a 3-pointer until the Panthers grabbed a double-digit lead at 45-35. The Saints again closed the gap to 52-46 at the 12:31 mark on a Jones triple. However, Drury scored seven straight to take control.
