The Maryville women's basketball team was looking to topple No. 1 Drury before the Lady Panthers rallied to down the Saints 80-57.

The game was tied at 7-7 before the Saints knocked Drury back with a 10-0 run.
Stephanie Sherwood sank two free throws, and Barton hit a jumper. Steward drained a 3-pointer before Barton's triple staked the Saints to a 17-7. However, the Lady Panthers answered with 14 straight to end the quarter and take a 21-17 edge. Barton nailed a 3-pointer to end the Maryville drought and the Saints were still only down one at 25-24 after a
Taylor Kirby bucket with 6:01 to play in the half. Drury inched ahead and settled for a 35-30 lead at the break.

The Saints were unable to get their offense untracked in the second half as Drury opened the third with a 13-0 run to take control. Stidham converted a 3-pointer, and an
Abby Monis bucket got Maryville to within 50-41 with 2:07 to play in the quarter. Drury scored the last seven points to grab a 57-41 advantage.
Erin Lenahan's hoop pulled the Saints to 61-49 with 7:26 to go but Maryville never got the deficit back to single digits. Hailey Diestelkamp led Drury with 26 points and 10 rebounds.
