In the final game of the regular season, the Maryville men's lacrosse team took a 6-5 lead in the fourth quarter but No. 20 Lindenwood rallied to defeat the Saints in St. Charles. The Lions tallied the final five scores of the game in a 10-6 victory.

In a low scoring first half, Lindenwood took a 2-0 edge before
Jacob Allen got the Saints on the board in the final minute. The Lions settled for a 2-1 edge at the break.
Ty Wenck fired in a ball to open the third quarter and forge a 2-2 tie. Lindenwood retook the lead before Allen tallied his second of the day for a 3-3 score. The Lions went ahead 4-3 until
Lucas Shafer scored two straight times for a 5-4 Maryville advantage heading into the final 15 minutes.

Lindenwood tied the game in the first minute of the fourth before Shafer completed a hat trick with a transition goal for a 6-5 Maryville lead at the 8:36 mark. However, the Lions tied the game less than a minute later and took the lead for good on a man-up opportunity. Lindenwood built an 8-6 lead with 5:30 remaining and only allowed Maryville one more shot the rest of the way.
