Cody Siebenberger tossed seven innings of one hit baseball to propel the Maryville University baseball team to a 5-0 victory over Truman State on Senior Day Sunday afternoon at Weber Field. The win extend the Saints current winning streak to nine games.
Game One:
Camdon Mercier opened the scoring for the Saints in the bottom of the second with an RBI single to put Maryville on top 1-0. The Saints added to the advantage in the home half of the third as
Louis Niemerg hit an RBI single and
Cody Klotz smashed a three-run blast to put Maryville ahead 5-0. The home run for Klotz was his team-high 12
thof the season. That is all that the Saints needed as the Maryville pitching staff held to the Bulldogs to two hits on the afternoon.
