St. Louis – The Maryville University women's soccer team scored in the first three minutes of the game and added a goal later in the first half en route to a 2-0 victory over Missouri S&T Sunday afternoon at Maryville Field. 
 
What Happened – Amanda Kaltwasser opened the scoring for the Saints as she tipped a crossing pass from Alex Johnson onto the net in the third minute to put Maryville on top 1-0. Mariah Loya gave the Saints an insurance goal in the 34^thminute as she found the back of the net off a touch pass from Kristen Sparks to stake Maryville to a 2-0 advantage. 
 
Inside the Numbers – The Saints outshot the Miners 10-7 while each team had four shots on goal in the contest. Kaltwasser paced the Saints offense with four shots. Alison Riddle earned her 11^thcareer clean sheet while claiming her first win of the year.
