Drury recap
No. 1 Drury used a big second quarter and pulled away to defeat the Maryville women's basketball team Saturday afternoon at the O'Reilly Center.
Mary Barton paced the Saints with 13 points, while
Olivia Kastens tallied a season best with 10 points.

What Happened
The Saints fell behind 8-0 but clawed their way back into the game.
Abby Monis got the Maryville on the board as the Saints kept the Panthers from pulling away. Down 21-13 with four minutes left in the opener, the Saints defense kept Drury from scoring. Kastens drained a 3-pointer, and Barton completed a three-point play.
Jayda Jansen hit one free throw to bring the Saints to 21-20 by the end of the first quarter.

Drury started the second quarter by tallying the first 10 points.
Hunter Stidham made one free throw, and Kastens knocked down another 3-pointer but that would be the only Maryville field goal of the quarter. Monis sank two late free throws to bring the Saints to within 42-26 at halftime.
Karlee Feldman had one free throw as Drury led 46-27 but the Saints were unable to keep the margin until 20 the rest of the way.
