Drury Recap
The Maryville women's basketball team put four players in double figures but Drury stayed unbeaten on the season with a 92-59 win Sunday afternoon in Springfield, Mo.
Jayda Jansen paced the Saints with 16 points and six rebounds.
Kate Rolfes came off the bench to tally 11 points for Maryville. A 16-2 run by Drury gave the Lady Panthers control in the first half.
Antoinette Mussorici and
Karlee Feldman both added 10 points apiece.

What Happened
A bucket by
Jayda Jansen and two free throws by
Antoinette Mussorici cut Drury's lead to 8-6. Jansen kept the Saints close as her jumper made the score 13-8. However, the Maryville offense stalled as Drury closed the first quarter by scoring 11 straight points. In the second,
Hunter Stidham drilled a 3-pointer from the left wing to start an 8-2 run. Jansen made one free throw, and
Carsyn Fearday hit a runner in the lane.
Karlee Feldman powered for a layup as the Saints cut the Drury lead down to 33-20. Maryville hit four of its last five shots in the half but the Lady Panthers took a 40-23 edge into the break.

In the third quarter, the Saints had a 6-2 burst to creep closer.
Donnetta Colbert drained a 3-pointer, and Mussorici made one free throw. Feldman scored in the lane to trim the deficit. However, the Saints were unable to bring the deficit below 20 points the rest of the way.

The Saints committed a season high in turnovers in the contest.
