In a game featuring big runs by both teams, visiting Lewis had the final run to down the Maryville women's basketball team 80-65.
Antoinette Mussorici tallied 25 points and
Jayda Jansen tallied 22 to pace the attack for the Saints.
Karlee Feldman recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

What Happened
The Saints trailed by 12 but embarked on a 26-4 run to surge ahead. Trailing 19-7, Feldman scored on a layup to start the run. Jansen drilled a 3-pointer, and Mussorici sank two free throws to pull the Saints to 19-14 with 62 seconds left in the opening quarter.

Still down 21-16, Mussorici scored inside, and Jansen converted a layup. Two free throws by Mussorici handed the Saints their first lead of the day at 22-21 with 8:17 left in the second quarter. Lewis retook the advantage 23-22 but the Saints answered with 11 straight points. Stidham sank a wing triple, and Jansen slid inside for an easy bucket. Mussorici had a driving layup, and two straight hoops by Jansen pushed the lead to 33-23. The Saints scored the final five points to take a 42-31 lead into half.

Lewis opened the second half with 11 straight points to tie the game. Jansen and
Olivia Kastens sank consecutive three-pointers for a 48-42 advantage. Maryville still led 50-46 before the Flyers tallied nine straight to take the lead for good. The Flyers were red-hot in the third quarter and sank 12-of-14 shots from the field. The Saints kept the Flyers close and Feldman's layup in the lane cut the deficit to 64-61 with 6:21 left. However, the Saints were not able to get any closer the rest of the way.
