St. Louis, Mo. – Goalkeeper Elyse Waterhouse made eight critical saves for the Maryville University women's soccer team Friday afternoon in a 0-0 double overtime draw with the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
 
The Run of Play – The first half flew by with few goal scoring opportunities for the Saints. In the second half, Lexi Gentry put the first shot on frame for Maryville in the 81^st minute, but it was saved by the Tritons 'keeper. The match was scoreless and headed to overtime.
 
In overtime, Waterhouse made her biggest save of the day on a breakaway attempt in the 97^th minute. The senior made a leaping save to push the shot attempt over the bar and keep the match tied. Gentry had one more chance with a header attempt on goal in the second overtime, but it was denied, and the match ended nil-nil.
 
Inside the Numbers – This was the sixth match of the year for the women's program that went into overtime and the fourth to go to double overtime.
