Lebanon, Ill. – The Maryville University men's soccer team made it eight wins in a row Sunday afternoon with a 1-0 victory over McKendree University thanks to a
Ricardo Andrade goal and a three-save shutout from goalkeeper
Nick Hemann. This was Andrade's second goal and Hemann's sixth shutout of the season.

The Run of Play – The first half saw Hemann make two comfortable saves from long-range efforts as well as an ambitious shot on goal from
Mirza Hasecic, but the match remained scoreless into the halftime break.

Ben Brodie bolted into the box and juked out a Bearcats defender before laying off a simple pass to Andrade, who fired home a left-footed strike into the side netting to give the Saints a 1-0 lead. Sophomore
Tim Smith tested the 'keeper in the 72
nd minute but was denied. Hemann was called into action one final time in the 78
th minute and secured his third save of the day to give the Saints their seventh shutout victory of the season.
