St. Louis – Despite having an advantage in shots on the afternoon, the Maryville women's soccer team and Quincy played to a 0-0 draw Friday afternoon at Maryville Field.
What Happened – The Saints had many opportunities to score late in regulation with
Carly O'Donnell having the best chance to put Maryville ahead as she placed a shot to the bottom right corner of the goal that was saved by the Hawks goalkeeper.
Erin Barnes also had a shot into the right side of the goal saved by Emilee Autry of Quincy to force overtime.
Inside the Numbers – The Saints had a 10-6 advantage in shots with both teams have five of those shots on frame.
Katie Nash made five saves on the day in her first career start for the Saints.
