St. Louis – Mirza Hasecic scored early in the second half to propel the Maryville men's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Truman State Sunday afternoon at Maryville Field.

What Happened – After a scoreless first half, in which Maryville did not allow a shot by Truman State, the Saints struck quickly after the break. Mirza Hasecic broke the ice in the 47^th minute with a shot from 20-yards out to put the Saints on top 1-0. That is all that was needed as the Saints held Truman State to two shots on the afternoon to earn their second win of the year.
 
Inside the Numbers – Maryville outshot the Bulldogs 9-2 on the afternoon as Hasecic, Dom Riggio, and Braden Johnson each had two shots in the contest. Liam Walraven earned his first shutout of the season in the win and now has five career clean sheets to his credit.
