The Hawks scored a run on a pair of errors in the top of the fourth, but Polak answered with a two-run homer of his own put the Saints ahead. 7-1. Rockhurst plated a run in the eighth with a sacrifice fly to cut the Maryville lead to 7-2. In the home half of the eight, Polak hit his second home run of the game to drive in three runs to extend the Saints advantage to 10-2.
