What Happened
The Saints played their best set of the match in set three. The contest was tied at 12-12 before Maryville ripped off a 5-0 run to take control.
Faith Ahlhardt had two kills and
A.J. Hallemann served an ace to key the burst. Lewis scored a point but the Saints sealed the win by scoring four of the next five points.
Rachel Hurt paced the Saints with 10 kills, while Ahlhardt added six kills. Hallemann led the defense with 15 digs.
Mikaela Kues directed the offense with 19 assists and chipped in 14 digs.

Missouri S&T Recap
In its second match of the day, the Saints received eight kills from
Hannah Scrum but Missouri S&T won in three sets 25-19, 25-17, 25-21.

What Happened
Set one was tied at 6-6 before the Miners scored six of the next seven points to jump ahead. The Saints used a 7-2 run to close late but only got as close as 21-17. Maryville went up 5-3 in the second set after a kill by
Avery Bell and a Miners' error. The visitors tallied five of the next six points to go in front.
Karolina Rodowski and
Abbie Schnell had a block to get the Saints to 8-7. Missouri S&T surged back ahead until the Saints answered with a 4-1 spurt. However, Maryville never was able to draw even. The Saints bolted out to a 4-1 to start set three. A Miner miscue provided a 5-2 lead before Missouri S&T took a 7-5 edge. Still down 14-10, the Saints tied the set at 14-14. The Minders went on a 7-1 run to seal the win.
