The Maryville Men's DI hockey team traveled to Midland University this past weekend and secured its first weekend sweep of the season. The Saints opened the weekend with a 4-3 over the Warriors and completed the sweep by winning 9-1 this past Saturday evening.

Phil Klemmer all had assists in the game. Johnny Massara recorded the win in net with 34 saves.Â

Maryville completed the weekend sweep Saturday winning by a score of 9-1. Seven Saints cracked the scoring column including
Christian Alvegran and
Kole Mudra each scoring a pair of goals while
Jayden Bexte,
Jack Harrison,
Anthony Stavrou,
Jens Julussen, and
Damian Caringi all added goals on the night.
Ed Coffey made 31 saves between the pipes en route to his second win of the season.Â

The Saints have four more regular season games left in their 20-21 season. Next games are Friday, March 5Â and Saturday, March 6, against Missouri State at the Maryville University Hockey Center. Both games are set to begin at 7 p.m.
