Nine Different Players Score as Men's Lacrosse Sails Past Quincy 15-6

Six players scored two goals apiece as the No. 15 Maryville men's lacrosse team cruised to a 15-6 victory over Quincy on a windy and rainy Saturday afternoon. The Saints led 5-0 after one quarter, 8-1 at halftime and 12-2 after three quarters. Nine different players scored for Maryville. The Saints were successful on all 24 of their defensive clearing attempts.

What Happened
Jake Foster put the Saints ahead at the 10:30 mark, and Ethan Olson followed less than a minute later. Parker Lee found the back of the net midway through the first. Jacob Allen scored, and Foster's second of the game boosted the Saints to a 5-0 lead after the first 15 minutes. The Hawks scored their lone goal of the first half before Tyler Wenck and Ben Foster followed with scores. Ben Foster's goal was good for an 8-1 at intermission.
                                                                                                                                      
The Saints put the game away in the third quarter as they tallied the first four after the break. Wenck's second goal of the day pushed Maryville's margin to 12-1 at the 4:21 mark of the third. QU pulled one score back but the Saints opened the fourth quarter with a 3-0 run. Justin Morgan and Declan Mulholland got onto the scoresheet, and Seth Cianfoni tallied his first goal for a 15-2 advantage with 9:59 remaining in the tilt.
 
Connor Robinson made three saves and surrendered just one goal in 37 minutes of action to pick up the win in the cage.
