Romeoville, Ill. – The Lewis pitching staff held the Maryville baseball teams offense in check Sunday afternoon as the Flyers defeated the Saints 14-0 in seven innings at Brennan Field in Romeoville, Ill.
Game One: The Flyers grabbed the lead in the bottom of the third as Lewis plated nine runs on seven hits, which included a pair of home runs, to take a 9-0 advantage. The Flyers added a run in the fifth and four more runs in the sixth to take a 14-0 lead. The Lewis pitching staff limited the Saints to only five hits on the afternoon with
Alex Hoff collecting two of those.
