St. Louis, Mo. – The Maryville University men's soccer team was tripped up Friday afternoon by Rockhurst University 2-0 at Maryville Field.

The Run of Play – Neither team produced any shots in the first 18 minutes of the game until senior
Ben Brodie put a header just past the right post. Captain
Cedric Sengl had a great chance for the Saints in the 23
rd minute, but his shot was blocked. Rockhurst struck first in the 25
th minute with a tap-in from five yards out to take a 1-0 lead. The Hawks extended their lead to 2-0 in the 39
th minute with a goal from just inside the 18-yard box.

The Saints created six shots in the second half but could not beat the Rockhurst goalkeeper and fell by a score of 2-0.
