The Run of Play – The visiting Panthers jumped on the scoreboard early with a ninth minute goal to take a 1-0 lead. The Saints battled back in the 44
th minute when freshman
Bryce Dickerson beat the defense on the right side and crossed a ball that found Crew for a one-timer that beat the goalkeeper and tied the game 1-1.

Maryville created multiple goal scoring opportunities in the second half, but the breakthrough finally came in the 76
th minute. Friday nights hero,
Victor DeGiorgio, fired a shot that was saved by the Panther 'keeper and spilled out to Hasecic who blasted home his second goal of the year to secure the 2-1 Saints victory. Â

Inside the Numbers – The men's soccer team outshot the visitors 20-3 and produced nine shots on goal compared to the one Panthers shot on goal.
