Crew and Hasecic Lead Saints to 2-1 Comeback Victory

St. Louis, Mo. – The Maryville University men's soccer team came from behind Sunday afternoon to defeat Davenport University 2-1. Freshman Mason Crew and senior Mirza Hasecic found the scoresheet to push the Saints to their second victory of the season.

The Run of Play – The visiting Panthers jumped on the scoreboard early with a ninth minute goal to take a 1-0 lead. The Saints battled back in the 44th minute when freshman Bryce Dickerson beat the defense on the right side and crossed a ball that found Crew for a one-timer that beat the goalkeeper and tied the game 1-1.
