Taylor Kirby scored 16 points and
Haidyn Pitsch narrowly missed a double-double but Truman State handed Maryville its first home loss of the season 79-57. Pitsch recorded season highs with 10 points and nine rebounds.
Antoinette Mussorici added 10 points and four boards.

What Happened:
The Saints struggled to find their shooting form in the first quarter as Truman State grabbed a 24-9 lead. Maryville roared back into the game on the strength of a 13-0 during the middle of the second quarter.
CiCi Rindy started the burst with two free throws and tacked on a layup. After Kirby scored on a drive, Pitsch drilled consecutive 3-pointers from the right wing. Mussorici's scooped in a layup as the Saints pulled to within 34-23. The Maryville defense shut out Truman for more than five minutes. A layup by
Olivia Kastens and a triple by Mussorici trimmed the gap down to just 37-28 at the half.

Pitsch scored on a driving layup to keep the margin at only 39-30 but Truman went on a 7-0 burst. The Saints tried to prevent the Bulldogs from pulling away and a free throw by Mussorici and a 3-pointer from Weis was good at 52-36. However, the Saints were not able to close the gap to single digits as Truman State posted its seventh straight win.
