St. Louis – Fueled by three players in double figures, the Maryville women's team returned to its winning ways with a 70-57 victory over William Jewell.
Hunter Stidham paced the Saints with 18 points while hitting four 3-pointers.
Taylor Kirby had 17 points and six rebounds, and
Carsyn Fearday finished with 15 points and five boards.

What Happened:
The Saints scored the first eight points of the game and did not surrender a point until the 6:32 mark of the opening quarter. The Saints tacked on a 6-0 to build a double-digit lead at 14-3. Maryville settled for a 21-12 lead after the opener. William Jewell slowed chipped away at the deficit and cut the Maryville lead to 31-30 at halftime.

Stidham drilled a 3-pointer to open the second half, and Kirby scored consecutive layups to build a 38-30 advantage. The Saints stayed in front and took a 48-43 lead into the final quarter. The Saints received 3-pointers from Stidham and
Haidyn Pitsch to build an eight-point lead. Up 58-51, Fearday scored back-to-back layups to push the margin to 62-51 with 2:19 left. The Cardinals got as close as 62-54 but six straight free throws put the game away.
