Taylor Kirby grabbed an offensive rebound and scored on a layup with 19 seconds left as the Maryville women's basketball team rallied from 15 points down in a 62-59 victory over Arkansas Tech. After a defensive stop,
Antoinette Mussorici sank two free throws with 0.6 seconds left to close out the victory. Kirby finished with a career-high 14 rebounds, while Mussorici led the team with 16 points.
Carsyn Fearday added 14 points, while
Haidyn Pitsch chipped in 10 points.

Arkansas Tech built a 37-22 lead two minutes into the third quarter before the Saints started the gigantic comeback. Maryville closed to 40-27 before
Haidyn Pitsch sank back-to-back 3-pointers. The deficit was still 46-37 but
Carsyn Fearday stole the ball and nailed a short jumper. Fearday scored the four more points, including two free throws with 0.1 seconds left in the third quarter, as the Saints closed to 47-43.

ATU scored on a layup to build a 53-48 cushion before Fearday hit one free throw followed by two from Mussorici. Kirby blocked a shot that turned into a
Maddy Meehan baseline jumper as the Saints tied the score at 53-all. The Golden Suns sank one free throw but Mussorici scored on a layup to push the Saints on top 55-54. ATU rebuilt a 58-55 edge but Mussorici drilled a 3-pointer to tie the game at 58-58. Arkansas Tech made one free throw before the Saints took possession. Maryville missed on its first chance but Kirby grabbed the carom and converted for the go-ahead points. ATU had an attempt to take the lead but Kirby again tracked down the rebound, and Mussorici sealed the win.
