St. Louis – The Maryville women's basketball team registered a season high in points in an 88-83 victory over Indianapolis Sunday afternoon.
Antoinette Mussorici tallied a game-high 26 points, and
Carsyn Fearday added 22 points.
Hunter Stidham finished with 17 points, including two crucial late 3-pointers.

The Saints blazed the nets at an 84.6 percent clip (11-of-13) in the first quarter to roll to the early lead. Up 7-5,
Faith Hawthorne scored on a layup to start an 8-0 run.
Carsyn Fearday had a three-point play, and Stidham's 3-pointer gave the Saints a 15-5 lead. After a UIndy score, Maryville went on a 9-2 run capped by Mussorici's triple and a 24-9 edge. At the end of the first, the Saints were up 27-17. The Saints kept up the offensive push and took their biggest lead of the day at 54-37 before toting a 54-39 lead into halftime.

The Greyhounds had their best quarter of the game in the third and outscored the Saints by 13 to jump back into the contest. Maryville held a narrow lead for the fourth quarter before UIndy tied the score as 76-76 with 2:24 remaining in the game. Stidham drained a wing 3-pointer for a 79-76 advantage. The Greyhounds made two free throws on their next possession but Stidham answered from nearly the same spot behind the arc to push Maryville on top 82-78. UIndy hit a 3-pointer but Fearday and Mussorici canned four consecutive free throws. After a Greyhounds hoop, Fearday went to the line and put the game away with two at the stripe.
