St. Louis – The Maryville men's basketball team closed out non-conference play with an 82-67 triumph over Eureka Saturday afternoon.
Ben Palacios scored a game-high 20 points,
Kelvin Swims recorded a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds, while
Colin Schuler chipped in 11 points.

Eureka recap
With the score tied at 63-63, the Saints broke away with a 10-0 run to take command. Palacios started the run with a layup, and Schuler knocked down a 3-pointer.
Jaeden Smith splashed in a wing triple, while Swims scored inside for a 73-65 edge. Eureka scored but Maryville tacked on seven consecutive points. Swims drove to the hoop for a layup,
Harrison Vickers nailed a 3-pointer, and two free throws by Palacios put the margin at 80-65 to seal the victory.

Palacios sank all six of his free throw attempts, while Swims directed the offense with six assists. The Saints committed just nine turnovers in the contest.
