Springfield, Mo. – In its final road game of the regular season, the Maryville men's basketball team saw Drury use a run midway through the second half to down the Saints 77-58 Monday night.
Ari Jackson paced Maryville with 14 points, while
Kelvin Swims hauled down 13 rebounds, the most by a Maryville player this season.

What Happened:
The first half was tight throughout and had eight lead changes and 10 ties. Neither team led by more than four points as the first 20 minutes ended in a 31-all tie.

Ari Jackson scored Maryville's first five points of the second half as the Saint went up 36-32. The Panthers went on an 8-0 run before
JT Morgan sank two free throws to pull the Saints to 40-38. However, Drury surged ahead 45-38 until
Daniel Farris scored on a layup. However, the Panthers tacked on an 11-0 burst and take a double-digit lead at 56-40.
Cameron Scales drained a 3-pointer to end the Maryville skid. The Saints got to within 67-52 on a Swims layup but were unable to trim the deficit to single digits.
