Antoinette Mussorici had the second-highest scoring game of her career with 30 points to guide the Maryville women's basketball team to an 80-53 victory at William Jewell. She added a season-high six rebounds and five assists to complete her night.
Carsyn Fearday added 12 points with three boards and three steals.

What Happened:
Mussorici tallied the first five points of the game to give the Saints a lead they would not relinquish.
Haidyn Pitsch knocked down a jumper, and Mussorici drained another triple for a 10-3 edge. Up 12-9,
Taylor Kirby had a three-point play, and
Carsyn Fearday added a jumper. The Saints led 21-15 after one quarter.

Maryville opened the second quarter by tallying nine of the first 12 points to grab a 30-17 advantage. The Saints used a late 7-0 run as Fearday scored five straight points and Cici Rindy had a layup. Maryville took a 40-25 cushion into the break. The Saints limited the Cardinals to just one 2-point field goal in the first half and 1-of-10 shooting inside the arc.

Mussorici scored the final eight points in the third and sank two free throws to open the fourth quarter as the Saints stretched their margin to 56-36. Maryville led by as many as 27 points and cruised to its second straight win and a season sweep of the Cardinals. The Saints knocked down 15-of-17 at the stripe (88.2 percent) and limited the Cardinals to 35.7 percent shooting from the field.
