Tyler Wenck notched a hat trick and
Jacob Allen reached 100 points for his career as the Maryville men's lacrosse team defeated Alabama-Huntsville 9-7 Sunday morning. The Saints scored five unanswered goals and shut out UAH for more than 25 minutes to take command of the contest.

Allen scored four minutes in to give the Saints a 1-0 lead but UAH tallied two straight. Wenck recorded the first of his three goals to tie the game at 2-2 after one quarter.
Ethan Olson scored consecutive goals, and
Zach Baker added a tally for a 5-2 lead at the break. The Maryville defense shutout the Chargers in the second 15-minute session.

Wenck scored to open the third quarter before UAH scored its first goal in more than 25 minutes.
Connor Eskridge found the back of the net for a 7-4 lead heading into the fourth. The Chargers pulled one back but Wenck completed his hat trick, and Allen scored the 100th point of his career on a goal for a 9-5 margin. UAH scored twice in the waning minutes but the Saints were in control.
Stephen DeSantis came off the bench to record seven saves and pick up the win for the Saints.
