Colorado Springs, Colo. – The National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) announced five Maryville student-athletes as a 2022 All-American Athlete Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year Award recipient. Selected this season were Julia Banfield (women's lacrosse), Casey Berberich (women's track and field), Nick Hemann (men's soccer), Alex Hoff (baseball) and Joey Williams (wrestling).

This award recognizes their athletic accomplishments and dedication to strength and conditioning. Nominated by Maryville strength and conditioning coach
Jake Fitts, the group's determination to improve in athletics while maintaining academic prominence is a great model for all student-athletes at Maryville University.
