St. Louis – The Maryville men's lacrosse team pushed No. 8 Indianapolis to the waning minutes before its rally fell short 14-10. The Saints trailed 12-10 and were pressing the Greyhounds to get the ball back but UIndy iced the game with two goals in the final 66 seconds of the contest.

Tyler Wenck grabbed a ground ball and sprinted down the field to fire in the opening goal of the contest. UIndy reeled off five straight until
Reid Usrey used a rising shot to the upper corner to bring the Saints to 5-2. The Greyhounds led 7-2 but the Saints roared back with four straight goals.
Connor Eskridge started the run with a score at the 1:47 mark in the second, and
Clayton Cerett tallied in the final minute before half as the Saints were only down 7-4 at the break.

Reid Usrey opened the scoring in the third, and
Aidan Koenig's goal chopped UIndy's lead to just 7-6 with 4:27 left in the third.
Ethan Olson and Eskridge sandwiched scores around one from the Greyhounds. Wenck tallied to bring the Saints to 11-9 with nine minutes left. UIndy went back up 12-9 but Cerett scored his second to draw Maryville to 12-10 at the 1:45 mark. However, with the Saints double teaming the ball to try and gain possession, UIndy tacked on a goal to seal the win with one minute left.
