ST. LOUIS – Maryville men's soccer tied with Truman State University 0-0 on Friday afternoon. The Saints are now 9-2-5 overall and 6-2-4 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Â

Run of Play:
- Mason Crew put the first shot on goal of the game at 16:27 and was denied by Justin Olwig.Â
- Yayo Mutombo followed up less than three minutes later with another shot on goal in the bottom-right corner.Â
- The Saints outshot the Bulldogs 3-1 in the first half, with Simon Madsen making a save on his only opportunity.Â
- Madsen was tested again early in the second half in the 65th minute, turning away a Jack Knust shot.
- Tim Smith, Luca Bartoni, and Leyson Losada all tried to get the game-winner in the final ten minutes of the game, but the Truman State defense was up to the task of keeping them off the board.
