TIFFIN, Ohio – Maryville University men's soccer is set to take on Tiffin University in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday, Nov. 19, at 11 a.m. (CT). The Saints take on the site host in Tiffin, Ohio, after defeating the University of Wisconsin-Parkside 4-3 in overtime on Friday afternoon.
 
Mason Crew tallied five points in the national tournament opener, registering an assist on his team's first goal, tying the game at three in the 72^nd minute, and netting the game-winner in the first overtime period. The Saints fell behind the Rangers on three separate occasions but continued to fight back until earning the comeback victory to advance to the second round.
 
Tiffin University went 14-2-3 overall in 2023 with a 10-1-3 record in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference. The Dragons went on to win the G-MAC Tournament Championship with a 3-0 victory over Lake Erie in the finals and earned hosting duties with a first-round bye in the NCAA Tournament.
 
This is the second meeting all-time between the two programs, with the first coming in the second round of the 2019 NCAA Tournament on Nov. 24, 2019. Maryville advanced past Tiffin in that game, using a first-half goal from Cameron Paton to win 1-0.
