Madyson Rigdon drained six 3-pointers and finished with a career-high 21 points to drive the Maryville women's basketball team to a 96-38 victory over Hannibal-La Grange.
Haidyn Pitsch sank five 3-pointers and finished with 19 points, while
Antoinette Mussorici completed a double-double with 17 points and a career-high 11 rebounds.

The Saints soared out of the gate by scoring the first 20 points of the tilt. Â Pitsch rained in back-to-back triples to start the game.
Carsyn Fearday made a pull-up jumper and a layup, and Pitsch splashed in another from beyond the arc. After a Hannibal-La Grange timeout, Pitsch picked right back up with another trey, her fourth of the quarter.
Gracie Stugart grabbed an offensive rebound for a bucket, and
Faith Hawthorne converted for a 20-0 lead. The Trojans finally scored at the 6:07 mark to break their scoring drought. Maryville took a 31-6 lead into the second quarter.

The Trojans picked up their offense in the second quarter and trimmed the Maryville lead down to 43-21 by halftime. Rigdon took over in the third quarter as she drilled four 3-pointers to provide the Saints offense with a lift. She scored 13 points in the quarter as Maryville took a 76-29 lead into the fourth and cruised the rest of the way.

The 96 points are the most by the Saints since scoring 97 in an overtime game at Truman State, and the highest total in regulation since tallying 99 against Urbana Dec. 19, 2018. Maryville hit 14 3-pointers versus Hannibal-La Grange, tied for the fourth most in a contest in program history. The Saints forced the Trojans into 33 turnovers and came up with 20 steals.
