Indianapolis - The Maryville wrestling team swept both matches at the Greyhound Duals Saturday in Indianapolis. The Saints edged Glenville State 20-19 before roaring past Kentucky Wesleyan 50-0 in a shutout.

Against Glenville State,
Taylor Jokerst won via a 141 walkover before
Donavan Whitted posted a 20-6 major at 157.
Cole Ritter followed at 165 with a 5-2 decision.
Joey Williams grabbed a 6-4 sudden victory decision at 184, and
Chase Stegall shutout his 197 opponent 7-0. The Saints prevailed via criteria in the 20-19 win.

Versus Kentucky Wesleyan, the Saints won all 10 matches in the romp. At 125,
Jalin Reese rolled to a 13-2 major, and
JP Homfeld won at 133 on a forfeit. Jokert took a 5-3 decision at 141, while
Javier Gutierrez recorded a fall in just 1:33 at 149. Whitted won his 157 match 7-3, while
Cole Ritter posted a 20-4 tech fall at 165.
Bret Heil pinned his 174 foe in just 1:57, while Williams had a fall in only 1:46 in this 184 bout. Stegall won at 197 via a walkover, and
Ryan Herman closed the flurry of falls with a pin in 2:55 at heavyweight.
