Justin Simonson scored a season-high four goals and added an assist as the Maryville men's lacrosse team beat Quincy 14-7.
Reid Usrey also had five points on three goals and two assists, while
Connor Kvaal added a hat trick and one assist.

Quincy recap
The Saints took early command by opening the game with four straight scores.
Connor Clancy tallied the opening goal at the 11:50 mark, and
Mitchell Kaye recorded a man-up goal to double the lead. Simonson tallied his first on the day, and
Jared Norris found the back of the net for a 4-0 lead with 6:40 to play in the first quarter.

Quincy tallied the final goal of the first quarter and opened the second with a score. The Saints reeled off three straight to answer. Simonson scored to end the QU run, and Kvaal scored his first. Simonson completed his hat trick for a 7-2 edge midway through the second. The Hawks scored just before halftime to trim the Maryville margin to 8-5.

The Saints took control in the third quarter with four goals while blanking the Hawks. Kvaal started the run, and Simonson recorded his fourth of the day. Usrey ripped the net for back-to-back scores to push the Saints on top 12-5. Quincy picked up two scores early in the fourth before Usrey and Kvaal closed out the game.
