Indianapolis – The Maryville men's lacrosse team led for most of the way at No. 4 Indianapolis but the Greyhounds used a big fourth quarter to rally for a 15-11 victory. UIndy outscored the Saints 6-1 in the final 15 minutes to key the win. Maryville had a balanced attack with eight different goal scorers, and
Connor Kvaal paced the team with two goals and one assist. Goalie
Stephen DeSantis made a career-high 16 saves.

The Greyhounds struck first before Usrey tied the game.
Andrew Skifstad won the ensuing faceoff and fired in a goal five seconds later to put the Saints ahead 2-1. UIndy tied the game but Kvaal tallied back-to-back goals, and
Mitchell Kaye's goal gave the Saints a 5-2 edge. UIndy tallied the next four goals to go up by one.
Justin Simonson tied the game at 6-6, and
Joel Lucas fired in a man-up score for a 7-6 lead at halftime.

The teams traded the next six scores in the third as
Clayton Cerett, Simonson and
Zach Baker tallied to give the Saints a one-goal lead each time. Baker's goal with eight seconds left in the third boosted the Saints to a 10-9 advantage heading into the final 15 minutes. However, UIndy scored three times to retake the lead. Usrey recorded his second of the day to pull the Saints to within 12-11 with 10:33 to play. However, the Greyhounds built a 13-11 margin and tacked on two more scores in the final minutes to seal the win.
