ST. LOUIS –
Bryce Glisson and
Caden Tubaugh both tallied a goal and an assist to power Maryville men's soccer to a 4-0 win over Quincy University on Sunday afternoon. The Saints improved to 4-1-1 in 2023 and 1-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Â

Run of Play:
- Kelvin Mulinya took the first shot on goal of the game in the 15th minute with a low shot but was denied by Quincy goalkeeper George Roke.
- Nick Hemann made his first save of the day at 20:21 to keep the game tied at zero.
- Now on the counterattack, the Saints sent a long pass into the box to Bryce Glisson. Glisson found an open Tim Smith on the opposite side for his third goal of the season.
- Maryville doubled the lead in the 26th minute on Glisson's first goal of the season after Caden Tubaugh found him with some space 16 yards out.
- At 33:59, Tubaugh headed a shot into the back of the net off a free kick to extend the lead to 3-0.
- Two minutes into the second half, Sebastian Weitlaner tried a shot to the top-right part of the goal but was turned aside by Roke.
- Crew scored Maryville's fourth goal of the day by putting a shot to the high-left part of the goal.
- The Saints ended a 4-0 win with 12 more shots than the Hawks, with Hemann making a pair of saves.
