ST. LOUIS – Maryville University men's soccer erased a first-half deficit with two goals in the second to beat Drury University 2-1 on Sunday.
Luca Bartoni scored his second of the season to tie the game before an own goal from Drury helped the Saints to their second Great Lakes Valley Conference victory of the season.

Run of Play:
- Luca Bartoni started the Maryville attack with a shot at 4:46 that starting Drury keeper Camden Meyer stopped.
- Maryville went on to tally four more shot attempts in the next 15 minutes.
- In the 29th minute, the Panthers took a 1-0 lead on a header from Mason Booth, assisted by Nico Navarro.
- Leyson Losada and Sebastian Weitlaner both tried to even the score over the next 10 minutes, but both were denied by Meyer.
- Still trailing 1-0 early in the second half, Tim Smith and Bryce Glisson found Luca Bartoni for a hard-nosed goal at 50:59 to tie the game.
- In the 77th minute, Carl Norby sent a shot off the top woodwork followed moments later by Caden Tubaugh's shot on goal.
- Maryville took the lead in the 80th minute when Marcus Kalebo took a corner kick which set up a Drury own goal.
- Mason Crew had a good attempt on net at 82:58 but Meyer was up to the task in the bottom-left corner.
- The Panthers had one last dangerous corner attempt at 86:36, but the Maryville defense kept the ball out of the net to secure a 2-1 win.
