St. Louis – Makai Scott had a double-double with season highs of 10 kills and 12 digs but the Maryville men's volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision to McKendree. The Bearcats won by set scores of 25-14, 25-18, 24-26, 25-13.
 
McKendree recap
The Bearcats used a 5-0 run midway through the first set for an 11-5 lead. David Fleischer had a kill to halt the momentum but McKendree scored four more. Cameron Lee and Scott had kills but the Saints never got any closer than five points. McKendree had a quick start in the second set with a 6-1 run to open. The Bearcats stayed in front but Jacob Fischer had two kills around a McKendree hitting error. The Saints used a 4-1 to inch to within 18-14. Scott had two kills and McKendree committed two errors. The Bearcats answered with a 5-1 run to take a 2-0 lead.
 
The Bearcats took a small lead in set three and led 11-10. After a McKendree service error, tied the score, Luke Kraft put down a kill for a 12-11 Maryville lead. The Bearcats went back up 15-13 but Scott hammered down two kills for a 15-all tie. There were five more ties before McKendree earned a match point at 24-23. McKendree committed back-to-back miscues to give the Saints a set point. Fischer put down a kill for a 26-24 win and forced a fourth set.
 
The Saints were down 6-5 but the Bearcats scored four straight. Kraft notched a kill for the Saints but McKendree added on four straight to stretch out its lead. The Saints got as close as 14-7 but the Bearcats tacked on a 4-0 run and closed out the match.
