St. Louis – The Maryville men's volleyball team swept Olivet Nazarene 25-21, 27-25, 25-18 Friday evening. Luke Kraft led the way with nine kills and added four blocks. Jacob Fischer served seven aces, while Zac Clark came up with nine digs. The victory is the 100th in Mike Haston's collegiate coaching career.

The Tigers edged ahead in set one before the Saints reeled off five straight points. Fischer had two aces to push the Saints on top 16-13. ONU tied the score at 17-all before Maryville used a 4-1 run to edge in front. The Tigers pulled to within 23-21 but Kraft's kill and another ace by Fischer ended the set 25-21.
 
The Saints were down 18-16 but came back to tie the score at 18-all. Maryville took a 22-20 lead and held it to 24-23 for a set point. ONU saved that one and another to force a 25-25 tie. However, the Saints forced consecutive errors to take the 27-25 decision.
 
Maryville was down 4-1 and roared ahead using a 6-0 burst. After two ONU miscues, Fischer served up three consecutive aces. A solo bock by Kraft put the Saints on top 7-4. Maryville stayed in front and still led 16-14. AJ Robateau had a kill and teamed with Ethan Beyreis-Heim on a block. The Tigers scored one point but Maryville tacked on three straight. ONU got as close as 22-18 but the Saints scored three straight to close out the match. After a Tiger error, Cameron Lee put down a kill. A solo block by Kraft ended the set at 25-18.
