Indianapolis – Despite a season-high 13 points from
Davis Walker, the Maryville men's basketball team dropped a 74-52 decision at Indianapolis Saturday afternoon. He added seven rebounds on the day, while
Luke Williams finished with 10 points.

Down 5-4 in the early going, the Saints sank back-to-back 3-pointers to take the lead. Walker drained one from beyond the arc, and
Colin Schuler added another triple for a 10-5 lead. The Greyhounds rallied with an 11-0 run before the Saints came back with a 7-3 burst to trim the gap to 19-17 with eight minutes left in the first half. Walker sank two free throws to make it 31-25 but UIndy scored the final seven points of the half for a 38-25 edge at the break.

The Greyhounds were hot from deep to start the second half and sank three triples during a 13-2 run to stretch out to a 51-27 advantage. Maryville answered with seven straight points.
Tutu Chisholm started the run with a layup, and Walker drained a triple. Williams sank two free throws to cap the burst. However, the Saints were unable to trim the deficit to single digits as the Greyhounds remained unbeaten in conference play.
