CREVE COEUR, Mo. – The Maryville women's soccer team dropped a spot in the NCAA Midwest Regional Rankings, sliding down to No. 2 ahead of its Great Lakes Valley Conference semifinal matchup against Missouri-St. Louis. The rankings are according to games through Nov. 10, 2024.
 
All four GLVC semifinal teams are within the poll with Drury at four, McKendree at six and the Saints' opponent UMSL at eighth in the poll.
 
The No. 1-seeded Saints and No. 5-seeded Tritons face off on Thursday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. CT at Creve Coeur Park Soccer Complex.
 
All seven postseason games will be streamed live behind a paywall on the GLVC Sports Network at GLVCSN.com, on Android and iOS mobile apps, as well as OTT apps via AppleTV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV and Android TV.
 
For those making the trip to the semifinals, single-day tickets are $15 for adults, and $5 for students with ID and youth 6-17 with children under five receiving free admission. Tickets must be purchased in advance online at GLVCsports.com; no cash accepted on site. Admission will begin one hour prior to the start of action for both the semifinals and finals.
 
The Saints most recently defeated Truman State 1-0 in the quarterfinals, allowing zero shots to the Bulldogs for the second time this season. Ashlyne Hunt played hero for the Saints, scoring at the 67th minute of action for her 11th goal of the season and third of her postseason career.
 
The last meeting between the Saints and Tritons went in the Saints way 3-0 with goals scored by Ulrika Bredin, Paige Barry and Nika Vemdal. Newly crowned GLVC Goalkeeper of the Year Agnes Vilen snagged four saves in the win.
