ST. LOUIS – The No. 8-ranked Maryville wrestling team faced it's biggest test of the young season, a battle with the No. 2-ranked and reigning national champion Central Oklahoma Bronchos. Despite some close matches, the rankings proved true as the Saints were only able to clinch one victory on the day, a 285 major decision victory for No. 4
Ryan Herman.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Bronchos turned on the jets early, starting at 174, they claimed two straight falls to start the dual, putting the Saints down 12. It kept rolling as two another wins at 197 via decision added to the already daunting UCO lead. Herman proved dominant in his match, but the rest of the Saints couldn't build off his win.

In total the Bronchos claimed five falls on the day, with six of their nine wins coming with extra points.
