Greeneville, Tenn. – The Maryville University men's volleyball team made it a weekend sweep of Tusculum as the Saints downed the Pioneers 25-19, 25-23, 25-20 to build their winning streak to a program-record 11 straight. 
Luke Kraft led a balanced attack with eight kills as five different Maryville players had at least five kills.

The Saints were up 13-12 but scores four straight to take charge. 
Makai Scott's kill started the run, and a TU error made it 17-12. Tusculum got as close as 20-17 until the Saints scored four of the next five. A service miscue gave the Saints the 25-19 win in the opener.
 
Maryville led for the early portion of set two before the hosts scored six straight to grab a 14-9 advantage. A 4-1 run score the Saints back to within 17-15. The gap was 21-19 until a TU error started a 4-0 burst. Scott and 
AJ Robateau had a block before an error by the Pioneers put the Saints on top. A 
Jacob Fischer service ace made it 23-21. The teams traded points and a TU hitting error handed the Saints 25-23 decision.
 
The teams traded big runs to open the third set until Tusculum took a 9-8 edge. Maryville roared in front by scoring five unanswered points. After a TU error, Kraft had a kill and 
Cameron Chambers served an ace. After a Fisher kill, he recorded a solo block for a 13-9 advantage. The Pioneers forced a 16-16 tie before the Saints ripped off another 5-0 charge. Robateau had a kill and a block before Kraft put down a kill. Two straight TU errors handed the Saints a 21-16 lead. 
Cameron Lee's kill closed out the match at 25-20.
