Makai Scott, the Maryville University men's volleyball team rallied to beat Missouri S&T in five sets. The Saints extended their streak to a program-record 12 consecutive victories with a 20-25, 26-24, 22-25, 25-22, 15-13 decision. Scott's 25 kills are tied for the second most in program history, and he completed a double-double with 10 digs.
Jacob Fischer had 12 kills and hit .364.

The fifth set saw the Saints take a 3-1 lead.
Luke Kraft had a kill,
AJ Robateau followed with a solo block, and a
Cameron Lee ace put Maryville ahead. The Saints were still up 5-3 before the Miners reeled off four straight for a 7-5 edge. The teams traded points before a Missouri S&T service error and a kill by Kraft tied the score at 9-9. The Miners were ahead 11-10 until the Saints scored three straight. Scott and Kraft had consecutive terminations, and another kill by Scott was good for a 13-11 lead. Scott finished off a pass from
Cameron Chambers for match point at 14-12. The Miners saved one but a service error handed the Saints the set and the match 15-13.

In the first set, the Miners used a 4-1 run to open a 16-10 advantage. The Saints scored three straight as a
Makai Scott kill pulled the Saints to within 17-14. Maryville made a push and got as close as 21-19 after a Kraft kill. The Miners scored three straight and closed out the opener 25-20.

Trailing 17-11 in set two, the Saints reeled off six straight points to forge a tie. The Miners committed a pair of errors to start the run.
Cameron Lee had kills along with one by
Luke Kraft for a 17-17 deadlock. The score was tied seven more times but a Miner error and a block by
Cameron Chambers and
Jacob Fischer gave the Saints a 26-24 victory.

Maryville scored the first three points of set three to take the lead. Kraft served an ace for a 7-5 edge. The hosts edged ahead and held a small advantage. Kraft had a kill to bring the Saints to 18-17 before the Miners scored five of the next six points.
Makai Scott had a kill, and a Miner error made it 23-20. Maryville tallied two-in-a-row but Missouri S&T held on for a 25-22 win.

In the fourth set, The Saints were up 10-7 after a kill by Scott until the Miners reeled off a 4-0 run. Down 15-13, Maryville used a 4-0 run and took a 17-15 edge after a block by Scott and
AJ Robateau. A Scott ace came at the end of three straight points for a 20-16 margin. The Miners got to within 23-22 but Lee and
Jacob Fischer had a block, and a Missouri S&T error gave the Saints the 25-22 win and forced a decisive fifth set.
