St. Louis – Four different players scored at least three goals as the No. 16 Maryville men's lacrosse team opened Great Lakes Valley Conference play with a 20-8 victory over Davenport.
Zach Baker led the way with four goals and one assist, while
Ben Foster,
Ben Mickett and
Justin Simonson all notched hat tricks. During the game,
Ethan Olson went over the 100-point mark for his Maryville career.

Davenport recap
The opened the contest with three straight goals. Mickett scored the first, and Foster followed less than a minute later. Just 36 seconds later, Baker made it 3-0. Davenport scored twice but the Saints took control with six unanswered goals. Baker scored his second of the day, and Mickett followed with his second.
Matt Martyn notched a goal before
John Chorlton had a BTB score for a 7-2 edge after one quarter.

Foster and Simonson made it 9-2 early in the second. Davenport finally scored as the teams traded goals until halftime. Maryville was up 12-5 at the break. Simonson scored just 17 seconds after intermission. The Panthers pulled one back but Maryville used another 3-0 run to surge ahead. Mickett started the run, and
Connor Clancy fired in his first goal of the season.
Connor Kvaal's score pushed the margin to double digits. The Saints led 18-7 and closed out their third straight victory.

Clayton Cerett dished out three assists, while
Dylan Radke made 11 saves on the day. The Saints dominated at the dot as they won 24 faceoffs, including a 13-of-15 effort by
Shea Raeburn. The Saints also went a perfect 22-of-22 on clears, the fourth-most in a perfect game in program history.
