St. Louis – The Maryville men's lacrosse team dominated from the opening faceoff and cruised to a 14-1 Great Lakes Valley Conference victory over William Jewell.
Shea Raeburn tied the NCAA Division II record for fastest score to start a game when he fired in a goal just five seconds into the contest.
Colin Tobias led the way with a career-high five goals, while
Dylan Radke gave up just the one score, the second fewest goals the Saints have surrendered in program history.

At the opening faceoff, Raeburn picked up the ball, sprinted down the middle of the field and fired in the record-tying goal at the 14:55 mark.
Ben Foster recorded his first goal of the game, and
Ben Mickett followed for a 3-0 after one quarter. Foster opened the second with a score, and
Zach Baker found the back of the next. Tobias sandwiched two goals around one by
Mitchell Kaye for an 8-0 advantage at the half.

Justin Simonson tacked on goals in the third as Maryville built a double-digit lead. The Saints stretched their cushion to as much as 13 before the Cardinals scored their lone goal with just 6:14 left to play in the game. Radke came up with six saves on the day and recorded an .857 save percentage. The Saints set a school record for most clears in a perfect game as they went 31-for-31 in clearance attempts. The 31 total defensive clears also set a new program mark.
